Pathways to Employment Webinar: Follow Kansas T.O.T.O. Down This Path to Success

On Wednesday, October 22, we hosted a Pathways to Employment webinar that provided an insightful look at how the Labor Market Information (LMI) Division of the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) is utilizing the wicked power of its Virtual Career Center to transform data into career intelligence.

The platform they use is named Today’s Occupations, Tomorrow’s Opportunities (T.O.T.O.). We followed KDOL over the rainbow to discover how this innovative platform is helping students and career changers find their yellow brick road to a career pathway without ever leaving Kansas. T.O.T.O. features powerful tools designed to help users navigate their professional paths, including the Wizard of Jobs, which estimates the salary needed for a desired lifestyle, and an electronic portfolio for career development and readiness record-keeping. 

This event provided a valuable opportunity for educators, career counselors, workforce professionals, and agency staff to learn about how T.O.T.O. supports meaningful school, career, and employment journeys across Kansas and beyond. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this valuable session!
