Pathways to Employment:
The Entrepreneurship Advantage
On Tuesday, December 13th, we were joined by three subject matter experts who provided us valuable information and unique concepts to help individuals determine, first, if they have the skills necessary to start their own business and second, how to put those skills to use in order to make it successful and sustainable.
Each of our presenters provided informative insight into topics such as:
- What the Startup Act is and how it can support entrepreneurship in each state
- Why choosing entrepreneurship over finding an existing job can benefit the workforce
- Where job seekers can find resources and steps to calculate the financial cost that it would take to start a new business
All of these topics, and more, were discussed at length between the three panelists and attendees, utilizing live interactive survey questions, as well as a separate question and answer period through the webinar chat feed, in order to allow attendee participation.
